I was looking for a plugin like this for a long time. It is working perfectly. It would be great to have a little more documentation. With some little CSS adjustments, I installed this on my main website built on the Genesis Framework. +1 for autofocusing as finomeno pointed out in his review.

Does nothing, waste of time.

Works nicely. Autofocusing the input field would help. Just add $('.search-field').focus(); after line 6 in /js/main.js
