\nWill this break existing image URLs on my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\nWhen an image is converted to a new format, OptiFusion updates the\nWordPress attachment record and regenerates thumbnail sizes, so URLs\nused through WordPress functions stay correct. Hard-coded URLs in\ncustom code that reference the old file extension would need updating.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Can I undo the optimization?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYes \u2014 enable \"Backup Original Images\" in Settings (on by default) and\nuse the Backup & Restore page to revert any image, or all images at once.<\/p><\/dd>\n
I changed the quality\/format settings, but Bulk Optimize isn't re-processing my images. Why?<\/h3><\/dt>\nBy default, Bulk Optimize only processes images that have never been\noptimized before, so it skips images that were already processed\nunder your old settings. Go to OptiFusion \u2192 Bulk Optimize and use the\n\"Force Re-optimize All Images\" button to re-process every image in\nyour Media Library with your current settings.<\/p><\/dd>\n
I have images left over in AVIF format from an older version of OptiFusion. What do I do?<\/h3><\/dt>\nAVIF output was removed starting in version 7.2 \u2014 OptiFusion now\nconverts everything to WebP only. If you still have images in AVIF\nformat from before, go to OptiFusion \u2192 Settings, where you'll see a\n\"Migrate AVIF to WebP\" button that converts them for you in one click.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
